Brownlee’s Alab Pilipinas teammate Renaldo Balkman, meanwhile, fondly remembered Reyes as a “great fighter to the end”.

“The Story of a Fighter. I had the privilege of having one of the best Fighters to represent me as an agent,” the Puerto Rican forward wrote.

“I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to call her Friend. She fought for me a to make sure I had opportunities, that would impact my life. Thank Sheryl for being a great Fighter, Friend, and being part of my Family. I love you and I appreciate you greatly. Sheryl You are Fighter to the end!!!! God bless you and your Family Forever. Mahal kita at salamat.”

Reyes has been a driving force behind the sidelines of the Philippine basketball scene, helping plenty of foreign basketball stars enter the PBA and other leagues.

Apart from Brownlee and Balkman, she also played a huge role in Lamar Odom’s basketball comeback for the Mighty Sports Philippines earlier this year. Reyes is survived by her fiancée, Adamson Soaring Falcons’ center Papi Sarr.
