Ivan Johnson on lifetime ban: What’s the hate against me?

Shaquille O’Neal goes wild in mosh pit at Tomorrowland

“What’s the hate against me?”

Banned Tropang TNT import Ivan Johnson asked this on Twitter after he was slapped with a lifetime ban and a hefty fine of P250,000 on Saturday.

For the record, Johnson is the second import to be banned in close to three years after Salud slapped a similar ban and fine on Petron (now San Miguel Beer) on March 11, 2013 along for choking teammate Arwind Santos in a game versus Alaska.

Johnson was tossed out of the game for incurring a technical foul for second motion and a flagrant foul penalty 1 for swiping the face of Meralco bruiser Bryan Faundo. Johnson then cursed PBA Commissioner Chito Narvasa, when the latter stepped out of his box while appearing to point an accusing finger at the temperamental import.

The game, which TNT lost, was still ongoing when Narvasa swiftly handed down the decision that drew mixed reactions.
