WATCH: Kobe Paras makes a splash in US college debut

Filipino sensation Kobe Paras scored seven points in his US college debut, helping Creighton Blue Jays to a 93-46 whipping of Wayne State Wildcats in an exhibition game on Friday (Saturday Manila time) in front of 15,128 fans at CenturyLink Center Omaha.

Paras went 3-of-7 from the field, including a triple, while adding five rebounds, an assist and a steal in 19 minutes of play off the bench.

But his biggest play came in the first half with a slam dunk off a steal that had the Creighton crowd up on their feet.

Kansas transferee Marcus Foster led the Blue Jays with 13 points with three more players adding 11 each. Ronnie Harrel, Jr. was the other Blue Jay in double figures with 10.

Creighton will play its season opener on Nov. 11 (Nov. 12 Manila time) against the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
