Looks like Kai Sotto has developed another skill that will come in handy in Europe.
In a YouTube clip posted by East West Private, Sotto, who recently turned 17, was seen working on his jump shot with renowned trainer Nick Stapleton.
After working on close-ranged hook shots with both hands, Sotto brought out the bag of tricks, displaying turnaround and pull-up jumpers, as well as a one-legged fadeaway ala Dirk Nowitzki.
The lefty seven-footer’s new found stroke even extended beyond the three-point arc, as he drained long bombs with ease.
Accompanied by his father Ervin Sotto, Kai is currently wrapping up his extensive basketball training in Atlanta, Georgia.
He is expected to return to the country next month to prepare for the FIBA U-19 World Cup.
