This means that Gilas Pilipinas will have more time to prepare for the upcoming competition. While their first game against Thailand set originally on February 20 is set to be rescheduled, their match against Indonesia on February 23 has yet to be impacted.
The national team composed of PBA veterans and amateur standouts is currently undergoing extensive training under the guidance of interim coach Mark Dickel, who was appointed to the position last January.
