(People’s Center, Balanga)

7 p.m. — Pasig vs Bicol

9 p.m. — Rizal vs Bataan

PASIG and Bicol try to get back on the winning track even as Bataan wants to pick up another home win in the resumption of the MPBL Lakan Season at the People’s Center in Balanga, Bataan.

The Volcanoes of Bicol had lost five in a row and the team is visibly affected by the internal turmoil happened in the team.

They will try to change their fortunes beginning Saturday night when they face the Realtors in the first game of the scheduled doubleheader at 7 p.m.

But the Realtors are likewise coming off a loss and getting back at the expense of the Volcanoes would boost their bid for a top four berth in the playoffs.

Pasig is currently at N0.4 spot of the tough northern division with a 10-5 win-loss record and a loss to Bicol would relegate the Sta. Lucia Realty-owned franchise to fifth spot and give Pasay a free lift to fourth place.

In the main game, Bataan battles Rizal at 9 p.m. as the Jonas Villanueva-mentored squad look to make it back-to-back.

Currently at the ninth spot, Bataan will have to make its move and a win will put the team just half a game behind eighth placer Caloocan in the northern division of this tournament put up by Senator Manny Pacquiao with PBA legend and former MVP Kenneth Duremdes serving as commissioner.

The Risers currently hold an 8-8 slate.
