RAY Parks and three other stalwarts of Alab Pilipinas will join expansion team Mandaluyong in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League.
This was confirmed by head coach Mac Cuan to FOX Sports Philippines in a text message.
Playing in an intense #ABL8Finals series featuring many stars that put up absurd numbers, it was two-time local MVP @ray1parks that was crowned the Finals MVP with a line of 22.4 points on 51.4 percent shooting, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.#ABL8#MakeHistory pic.twitter.com/X0jNLN4eOm

“It will be Ray Parks, Lawrence Domingo, JR Alabanza and Chris Sumalinog for Mandaluyong,” wrote Cuan.
According to Cuan, he decided to build around the El Tigre on these four players to boost their chances in the fastest growing regional basketball league in the country.
“Inayos ko muna yung status ng Alab, so I can start building the pieces around them,” added Cuan.
A 6-foot-3, back-to-back MVP winner in the UAAP, Parks is fresh from helping Alab Pilipinas to the ABL championship a few days ago.
Joining Parks in the roster are Domingo, a 6-foot-5 Fil-foreign player, Alabanza, another solid frontliner, and Sumalinog, a 6-fot-3 swingman who played for TNT in the PBA a few years ago.
With Parks moving to Mandaluyong, Muntinlupa, which also showed interest in getting Parks, will have to look for other prospects.
