Pasig Pirates and Caloocan Supremos: Rivals on the court, allies in doing charity

IN ONE rare occasion, two rivals from the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) — the Pasig Pirates and the Caloocan Supremos — have joined forces to fulfill a noble task.

Together, these teams formed an ally in helping Baby CJ, who is suffering from hydrocephalus.

According to Intalan, he was initially planning to stage a fundraising game between the Pirates and the Supremos, but both camps decided to just give a donation straight to the family of the ailing child.

“Mag o-organize dapat ako ng friendship game between Caloocan at Pasig.

Kallos, who also part owns the Longrich-backed Supremos squad, didn’t hesitate when Intalan, his former assistant, asked for help.

This is MPBL — ang Liga Ng Bawat Pilipino at Mga Taong May Puso.
