After leading ‘Munti’ to seven straight wins, Aldrin Morante moves to Pampanga

Greek Hero scores 41 for winning Bucks

AFTER leading Muntinlupa unscathed for seven straight games, Aldrin Morante was surprisingly relegated to the position of consultant and gave way for multi-titled collegiate coach Aldin Ayo.

Call it a blessing in disguise, Morante found himself free to coach anywhere and he found a new team in the Pampanga Dong Lanterns.

Pampanga team manager Simon Mangio confirmed the news to FOX Sports Philippines.

“Yes, it’s official, Aldrin Morante is the new coach of Pampanga. He’ll bring along Bong dela Cruz,” said Mangio in a telephone interview.

Mangio’s confirmation came on the heels of Muntinlupa’s first loss in the MPBL Datu Cup as the Angelis Resort-backed Cagers absorbed a stinging 100-86 loss against the Manila Stars-Robust Energy Drink.
