Are Ray Parks and company officially out of the Mandaluyong El Tigre?
Talks about Parks and the rest of the Alab Pilipinas stalwarts moving out of the MPBL grew more when the Dataland-backed El Tigre decided to make changes on the coaching staff as Mac Cuan and veteran mentor Arlene Rodriguez switched places.
The MPBL Commissioner’s Office was notified of the changes on Wednesday.
Cuan was relegated to the assistant coach role, which is previously being held by Rodriguez, former champion coach of Shell in the PBA.
In Mandaluyong’s last game against Laguna, the El Tigre played without Parks, Prince Rivero, JP Alabanza and brothers Axel and Thomas Torres. Even Cuan missed the action, forcing his brother, Japs Cuan, to take over on a temporary basis. These individuals are all headed to join Alab Pilipinas’ team in the ABL, but are still under contract with the El Tigre until December.
