How good is Gerald Anderson as a basketball player?

As good as he is acting in front of the camera to entertaining his fans, the celebrity baller proves that he’s definitely a reliable player for the Marikina Shoemasters in the MPBL Datu Cup.

He had a 20-point output for the Shoemasters in their losing effort against the Parañaque Patriots, and had a 12-point effort on top of four steals in their previous game against the Laguna Heroes.

Anderson has averaged 5.8 points and close to two steals per game. He is among the top 10 steals leaders in the MPBL Datu Cup and that alone makes him one of the resident stars of the Shoemasters.

Anderson has become one of the most utilized players in the Shoemasters’ roster, averaging close to 20 minutes a game.
