Zion Williamson enjoys ‘dream’ NBA debut despite Pelicans defeat

PAOLO Hubalde of the Valenzuela Classic and Jan Jamon of the Pasay Voyagers, two stars playing in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), are teaming up to lead Gulf Oil Philippines, which will compete in the coming Chooks To Go Pilipinas 3×3 basketball tournament in its second leg on February 16.

This was confirmed by Gracey Grey-Bartolome, an executive of Gulf Oil Philippines, in an online interview.

According to Grey-Bartolome, the two will be playing under Valenzuela Classic, which will begin its campaign at the SM Megamall Activity Center on the 16th.

Joining the two are brothers Carlo and Chris de Chavez, mainstays of the Classic in the ongoing MPBL Datu Cup.

So how does Jamon fits in with the Valenzuela team?

“Actually gulf player din si Jan Jamon and their official coach, Mr. Vinz Bartolome is the head coach of Chooks to Go Valenzula and at the same time Gulf Supreme Boosters. Personal choice siya ng owner and coach, Wala namn po restriction si Chooks, whether kung saan team ka kukuha ng player basta allowed ng mother team nya (sa MPBL),” added Ms. Bartolome.
