NBA Wrap: Clippers down Timberwolves for sixth win

The Los Angeles Clippers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 119-105 for their sixth NBA win in a row on Saturday night.

The win means the Clippers’ season record stands at 9-1 with Blake Griffin nailing 20 points and DeAndre Jordan getting 16 rebounds.

In other action, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the New Orleans Pelicans 126-99 while the Atlanta Hawks downed the Philadelphia 76ers 117-96.

The Boston Celtics downed the Indianapolis Pacers 105-99 as Avery Bradley looked red-hot with 13 points, eight rebounds and five assists. The San Antonio Spurs beat the Houston Rockets 106-100 while the Utah Jazz were 102-91 winners over the Miami Heat with Gordon Hayward scoring 25 points.

The Brooklyn Nets were 122-104 winners over the Phoenix Suns with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson scoring a triple-double and Jimmy Butler scored 37 points for the Chicago Bulls in their 106-95 win over the Washington Wizards.

The Detroit Pistons beat the Denver Nuggets 106-95 and the Milwaukee Spurs did enough to defeat the Memphis Grizzlies 106-96 with Giannis Antetokounmpo in great form with 27 points, six rebounds and five assists.

The Toronto Raptors beat the New York Knicks 118-107 thanks to DeMar DeRozan with 33 points, seven rebounds and four assists and the Knicks’ top performer was Carmelo Anthony with 31 points.
