Suns’ Dudley may miss season’s start after toe surgery

Marquez suffers big crash in MotoGP Australian GP FP1

Suns forward Jared Dudley is expected to be sidelined for three to four months after undergoing surgery on a toe ligament in his left foot.

The surgery was performed by Dr. David Porter at Methodist Sports Medicine in Indianapolis.

Dudley should return just before the start of the 2017-18 season, which is good news for a Phoenix team that relies on his perimeter defence.

Dudley averaged 6.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 64 appearances with the Suns last season.
