Thunder forward Nerlens Noel was taken off the court on a stretcher after a scary collision with Timberwolves wing Andrew Wiggins on Tuesday.
Noel was contesting a dunk midway through the third quarter when Wiggins’ elbow made contact with his face. He then fell and banged his head on the floor.
Noel appeared to briefly lose consciousness. He was moving as medical personal attended to him, according to ESPN.
The 24-year-old forward was called for a personal foul on the play. The referees reviewed the incident and determined no additional fouls needed to be distributed.
Wiggins addressed the incident in a tweet later on in the night.
My prayers out to you 🙏🏾 @NerlensNoel3
