New York set a franchise record Monday, dropping its 17th consecutive game in a 107-104 loss to the Cavaliers.

The Knicks and Cavaliers entered their matchup as the two worst teams in the Eastern Conference.
Collin Sexton led Cleveland with 20 points on the night. He wasn’t very efficient, but Larry Nance Jr. chipped in with 15 points and 16 rebounds on just 5-of-6 shooting.
New York got its scoring from an unusual source. Second-year guard Kadeem Allen paced the Knicks with a career-high 25 points.
The Knicks remain last in the Eastern Conference at 10-46 and will play the 76ers on Wednesday.
Studs of the Night
Andre Drummond notched 32 points, 17 rebounds and four steals in Detroit’s 121-112 victory over Washington.
Paul George recorded a 47-point triple-double to lead the Thunder past the Trail Blazers 120-111.
Lou Williams scored 45 points against the Timberwolves, but the Clippers fell short 130-120.
Duds of the Night
Nic Batum scored two points on 1-of-8 shooting as the Hornets fell to the Pacers 99-90.
Kris Dunn scored two points on 1-of-9 shooting in Chicago’s 112-99 loss to Milwaukee.
