Kyrie Irving (left thigh contusion) – OUT
— Boston Celtics (@celtics) March 6, 2019
The All-Star guard scored 19 points in 30 minutes during a 128-95 win over the Warriors on Tuesday.
He has been in and out of the lineup all season with various injuries, but he has yet to miss more than two games in a row.
While Irving being out is less than ideal, it isn’t the worst news for the Celtics.
Boston is 9-2 without Irving in the lineup this season. Nine of those games, though, have been against teams with records of .500 or worse.
The Kings are 32-31.
