Jimmy Butler reportedly heated at end of loss to Bulls: ‘We better draw up a better f—g play’

Toronto Raptors superstar Kawhi Leonard nails nine 3’s in a row!

Jimmy Butler was reportedly upset with the 76ers defensive scheme at the end of a loss, but he later said it was on him.

Jimmy Butler is about as competitive as they come and he was visibly upset at the end of the 76ers’ 108-107 loss to the Bulls on Wednesday.

A few minutes after a Zach LaVine bucket gave the Bulls the lead and an apparent victory, a strange series of events saw the 76ers leave the court thinking they had lost only to be called back out as 0.5 seconds were put back on the clock.

When the team was called back, Butler was clearly upset.

“We better draw up a better f—ng play if we do,” Butler reportedly said, via 670 The Score.

The 76ers were unable to score and lost the game.

Philadelphia surrendered the lead in the final seconds of the game when LaVine finished an open layup after Butler and Mike Scott appeared to have a defensive lapse.

Soon after, Butler was seen on the bench expressing displeasure with the defense the 76ers ran on the play.

Butler talked about the final sequence in the locker room.

“I think I should have just fought through the screen, stay with my man,” Butler said, via NBC Sports Philadelphia. “I think a lot of that’s on me, I gotta take that, I think I gotta just be better on the defensive end.”

The 76ers fell to 41-24 with the loss.
