Pingris apologizes to fans for not making it to PBA All Star weekend

‘Bucks have to limit Kahwi’ – Leonard helps Raptors control their series with Bucks

Amid the glitz and glamour of the ongoing PBA All-Star Week, hoop fans have been missing a familiar face in the league this edition.

Still recuperating from a hip injury he suffered last conference, Star veteran forward Marc Pingris won’t make his supposed 13th appearance in the annual spectacle

Pingris’ slot for the Luzon All-Stars was given to Rain or Shine big man Jay Washington instead.

The pride of Pozzorubio, Pampanga expressed his regret in his Instagram account, saying he already miss being in the hardcourt again.

Pingris’ absence came at the wrong time, however, as he will miss the chance to test the rejigged Gilas side, which is on the last stretch of their preparation for the SEABA Championships.

“Oo nga eh, sayang,” he told FOX Sports in a text message.

It’s all he can blurt out, though, as he still could not tell a date of his return.

“Wala pa eh,” he said.
