The intensity of San Miguel Beer-TNT clash in Game 5 went beyond the court and it spilled over the players’ partners.
A shouting match broke off in the already dim-lighthed patron section of the Smart Araneta Coliseum, which usually serves as waiting area for the players’ families and partners, moments after the Beermen came out victorious, 111-102, on Friday.
Eyewitnesses placed girlfriend of San Miguel forward David Semerad, Gwendoline Ruais and Troy Rosario’s wife, Mich, in the middle of the commotion.

A number of yellow-uniformed security guards had to get in the way of the altercation before it was broke off.
Rosario’s wife first walked off the venue, but was still seen furious on his way out together with other TNT supporters.
Ruais, meanwhile, was escorted by Semerad to the exit but venue securities had to delay them to avoid further altercation.
