Balkman’s best friend, Jackson, to take over Kelly’s spot as Magnolia import

Denver’s Murray hails Jokic partnership after NBA play-off win

CURTIS Kelly did not live up to expectations and Magnolia wasted no time giving him the pink slip.

Justin Jackson, a 28-year-old, well-traveled import and best friend of Renaldo Balkman, will be coming on board to replace Kelly and try to bring the Hotshots home this coming conference.

Kelly finished with only 19 points on a lethargic 3-of-12 shooting from the charity stripe, although he did grab 15 rebounds.

Jackson will be the third import of the Hotshots after Vernon Macklin and Kelly.

Listed 6-foot-9, Jackson last played in Slovakia where he averaged close to 24 points per game while playing for Reiker KN.
