Nash Racela won’t be manning the TNT KaTropa’s sidelines for a while.
Per Spin.PH’s Gerry Ramos, the head coach has been put on indefinite leave ahead of the team’s game against the Columbian Dyip today at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
This development came right in the middle of the KaTropa’s slump in the PBA Governors’ Cup, where the team, per PBA statistician Fidel Mangonon III, is currently in the midst of its worst start since the 1999 Commissioner’s Cup as the Mobiline Phone Pals.
Eric Gonzales will take over in Racela’s place.
Moments before the report broke, Racela posted a cryptic tweet which seems to indicate an internal discord.
Closed door means open windows. Our God is faithful.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

TNT’s lone win this conference came at the expense of the Meralco Bolts, 92-90, last August 19.
