UP head coach Bo Perasol has been meted a three-game suspension in a memo released by UAAP Commissioner Jensen Ilagan yesterday.
This memo was in relation to the incident a few days ago when the outspoken mentor was thrown out of the game in protest to the officiating during their key game against the defending champions, the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
“Bo Perasol committed continuous flagrant acts of aggression towards the calling official after being restrained repeatedly by the UP Fighting Maroons team members,” said in the letter.
Perasol will serve his suspension and he will miss the team’s next few assignments against FEU, UE, and UST.
Their next game against the FEU Tamaraws will be on Sunday, October 6 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
