University of the East got its act together to knock down National University, 90-77 for its first back-to-back wins in UAAP Season 80 men’s basketball on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Collective effort: Mark Olayon stepped up the plate to provide ample support for Alvin Pasaol. Olayon registered all-around numbers of 17 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds, while Will Bartolome had 14. Mark Maloles banged in 13.

Not enough: Issa Gaye banged in 20 points and 13 rebounds while JJ Alejandro came through with a near triple-double of 16, 10 assists and 8 boards. Their efforts though were not enough.
