Al Orouba (Oman) 0-4 Air Force Club (Iraq)

Iraq’s Air Force Club notched up a fifth win in six games with a 4-0 demolition of Oman’s Al Orouba.

Hammadi Ahmed was the star performer for the Iraqis, scoring a second-half hat-trick before Syria’s Mouaiad Al Ajaan added a fourth eight minutes from time

Ahmed scored his first from the penalty spot in the 52nd minute, his second via a close range-finish four minutes later and his third thanks to a tap-in in the 78th minute.

The victory helps Air Force Club finish well clear at the top of Group C on 15 points, while Al Arouba end bottom with just four points.

The final match from the group between Al Dharia and Al Wahda was postponed, with the winner set to finish second and advance.

Al Jaish (SYR) vs Ahli Al Khalil (PLE)

Fanja, meanwhile, finish bottom of the group, having earned just two points from their six games in the group stages.
