Newly-promoted Turkish Super Lig outfit Alanyaspor have agreed a deal to sign Monaco striker Vagner Love on a two-year deal.
The much-travelled forward only joined the French side in January after ending a successful spell with Corinthians in Brazil. However, the 32-year-old managed just four goals for Monaco in 2016, and has now agreed a deal to join Alanyaspor until at least 2018.
It appears the former Brazil international had been deemed surplus to requirements with the Red and Whites, and he will now begin a new challenge in Turkey after signing a two-year deal.
Alanyaspor club president Hasan Cavusoglu expressed his excitement at Love's arrival on the club's official website. He said: "On the field he will make a great contribution to our team. (He is) a highly experienced player."
The Brazilian forward had his most prolific spell with CSKA Moscow in Russia – the Rio de Janeiro-born star scored 95 goals in 184 games from 2004 until 2009.
Monaco also announced the sale of Marcel Tisserand to Bundesliga club Ingolstadt, where the defender has signed a four-year deal.
