Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic has been loaned out by the Anfield club once again, with the Serbia international joining Sporting Lisbon on a season-long deal.
The 22-year-old featured for the Reds in several pre-season fixtures, having spent last season on loan at Turkish outfit Fenerbahce.
He made 14 appearances for Fener before a hamstring injury cut short his campaign in February.
The Croatian was one of four Liverpool players loaned out on transfer deadline day, with Luis Alberto (Lazio), Andre Wisdom (Red Bull Salzburg, loan) and Mario Balotelli (OGC Nice) also leaving the club on temporary deals.
Markovic joined Liverpool from Benfica in 2014 in a £20 million deal, and has made 19 appearances and scored two goals for the Merseysiders.
