FC Bayern München captain Philipp Lahm believes Borussia Dortmund will once again be the Bavarians' closest challengers in the battle for the Bundesliga crown.
Dortmund finished the 2015/16 Bundesliga campaign 10 points shy of Bayern at the top of the standings, and just two points clear of third-placed Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
However, having seen BVB bring in a whole host of exciting new players in the off-season, Lahm is of the opinion that this season's tile battle will again be contested by Bayern and Dortmund.
"I think they'll be the main competition again," he told the Bundesliga's official website.
"They lost some big players over the summer, but obviously they've also been busy in the transfer market.
"I think they'll be putting out a very, very good team again. Dortmund have a top coach and a good, stable set-up, so I'd say they'll be our number one rivals."
When asked for his assessment of newly-appointed Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti, he added: "Every coach has his own style.
"There might be some situations now where we might play a bit more defensively than we have done previously."
