Brazil wonderkid Gabriel Jesus says the thought of his imminent move to Manchester City has not crossed his mind, after scoring a brace in a 3-1 win over Ecuador.
The teenage forward will join the English Premier League side in January for a reported fee of £27 million, once the Brazil league championship is concluded at the end of 2016.
However, after his debut heroics for the senior national team in their opening World Cup qualifier, the 19-year-old says he doesn't want to hear from the Citizens before his time at Palmeiras officially comes to an end.
"Right now I am with the Selecao and I am keeping my focus here," the tricky forward who helped Brazil to Olympic gold last month said after the game.
"Right now I don't want any contact with Manchester [City]. I am really happy being where I am right now, concentrated and focused on the national team.
"My head is clear and that is the way it is going to always be."
Gabriel Jesus has scored 26 goals in 69 games since making his debut for Palmeiras in March last year.
