Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel has admitted that his side cannot afford to underestimate Freiburg when they go up against them on Friday.
Dortmund have been in impressive form as of late – winning their last three games – against Legia Warsaw, SV Darmstadt 98 and VfL Wolfsburg – and scoring 17 goals in the process.
There is no doubt that Dortmund will be looking to extend their winning streak on Friday, but Tuchel acknowledged that securing their fourth successive victory will be no easy feat.

“Freiburg are tactically very disciplined and flexible. They are always capable of adapting to their opponents’ strengths,” Tuchel said. “They can play with either three, four or five men at the back. It always seems to work. You can see that their coach has been at the club for a long time. It will be a very complicated and tough game for us.
“They are very dangerous from set-pieces. Plus they have to great attackers in Vincenzo Grifo and Maximilian Philipp.
“They are a dangerous opponent overall and do not really have any major weaknesses. And they always manage to compensate for the few weaknesses they have.
“Our players need the tension ahead of the match, the thrill. They’re real sportsmen.”
Going into their clash with Freiburg, Dortmund can take some confidence from the fact that they have won their last 10 league matches against Christian Streich’s side and have scored 32 goals, while only conceding four.
