Barcelona captain Andries Iniesta has reiterated his desire to finish his career at the Nou Camp, despite rumours of Manchester City lining up a move for him.
The 32-year-old midfielder has spent his entire career with the La Liga giants, notching up close to 600 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions since arriving at the club's infamous La Masia academy in 1996.
"Guardiola knows what I think, what I want, and my desire is ending my career here, like I've said many times," he told Spanish radio station COPE.
"I'm very clear about what I say and what I think, everybody knows it.
"I would love to end my career at Barcelona. I have a contract until 2018. We will have to ask the directors whether they want to extend my contract.
"But I can only repeat that I want to retire at Barcelona," he concluded.
Meanwhile, Iniesta's teammate, Sergio Busquets, has signed a new contract with Jose Enrique's side this week, which keeps him tied to the club until 2021.
