Tottenham issue fan warning

‘Mane is the only pressure I have’ – Klopp downplays title talk

Tottenham have issued a warning to fans travelling to watch the club's Champions League clash against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday night.

The club are expecting 250 supporters to make the trip to Russia for the game, which is being held at the 30,000 capacity Arena CSKA.

A statement from the club and the Foreign Office advised fans to only show their club colours, shirts, flags or banners once they were safely inside the venue.

Part of the statement read: "Please note, for additional personal security, it is suggested you do not show your football colours until you are inside the stadium.

"Whilst flags and banners are welcome at the stadium, we recommend that they are not openly shown in the city centre."

Spurs kicked off their 2016/17 Champions League campaign with a 2-1 loss to Monaco at White Hart Lane two weeks ago, while CSKA recorded a 2-2 draw with Bayer Leverkusen.

This is the first meeting between English and Russian sides since supporters of the England and Russia teams clashed ahead of their Euro 2016 encounter.
