Bayer 04 Leverkusen forward and Switzerland international Admir Mehmedi is set to be sidelined for up to three weeks after sustaining a torn muscle in his groin.
The Bundesliga outfit, who have been winless in their last three league encounters, will be without the services of the Mehmedi after the club's official website confirmed that he will be sidelined for almost a month.
"Bayer 04 will not be able to call on Admir Mehmedi in the immediate future," the statement read.
"The Switzerland international suffered a torn muscle in his groin and will probably be out of action for two to three weeks,"
Mehmedi has made 18 appearances and scored three goals in all competitions and for Roger Schmidt's side this season.
