Real Madrid forward Mariano Diaz was delighted to have grabbed a hat-trick in his side's 6-1 thrashing of Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.
The La Liga giants progressed to the round of 16 in the competition as an own goal Cesar Ortega and further strikes by Enzo Zidane, James Rodriguez and Diaz (3) completed the rout.
Following his goalscoring heroics, the 23-year-old revealed that scoring a hat-trick for Los Blancos is a surreal feeling.
"It's a dream. Scoring one goal is incredible, but a hat trick is unreal," he said in post-match comments.
"I haven't had the chance to even stop and think about how I am feeling, just an amazing feeling of happiness.
"We tried to go out there and just play our game. We ended up scored a lot of goals and we are all very happy.
"I haven't set any objectives; I'll continue working hard every day in training and try to make the most of the opportunities I get," he concluded.
