SV Werder Bremen coach Alexander Nouri has revealed his side could be boosted by the returns of Serge Gnabry, Clemens Fritz and Milos Veljkovic from injury.
Bremen are third from bottom in the Bundesliga standings, having collected eight points from a possible 36 as they host Ingolstadt in a Bundesliga tie on Saturday.
Nouri's side are winless in their last six league games, and the 37-year-old mentor is hoping the imminent return of a number of key first-team players will help them return to winning ways.
"We will have to wait and see how they get on in training. I'm optimistic that they'll be able to feature," Nouri told the club's website.
"It's still possible that Max Kruse could make an appearance against Ingolstadt.
"He will rejoin the team in training on Friday. We'll see how he gets on then. We hope that he'll be ready to play and help the team."
Nouri also revealed that defender-cum-midfielder Lamine Sane is not yet available for selection, but maintained that he forms an important part of their team
"He is an extremely important player for us. He is a good example for the younger players. He will play when he is one hundred per cent fit," he added.
