Paris Saint-Germain's Thiago Silva, Serge Aurier and Marco Verratti have been shortlisted for the 2016 FIFPro World XI, and join a star-studded list of 55 global stars.
The PSG trio have been massively influential during the Parisians' recent success in France's Ligue 1, as well as for their countries.
Silva, who is the captain of the French champions, recently won the Rio Olympic games men's soccer competition with Brazil. Meanwhile, Verratti has been a key playmaker for the Unai Emery-coached outfit.
Aurier, who helped Ivory Coast win the AFCON in 2015, has been a real force at right-back. The triumvirate will be up for selection in the final 11 when the team is announced in Zurich on 9 January 2017.
Other notable nominees include Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer, Juventus' Dani Alves, Arsenal's Mesut Ozil as well as Barcelona's Lionel Messi.
It's thought that Silva in particular has a good chance of making the final selection due to the nature of some of his world class performances in central defence.
