Barcelona have confirmed that star striker Luis Suarez will put pen to paper on a new contract with the La Liga giants.
Suarez, who joined Barca from Liverpool in July 2014 for a £64.98 million fee, will remain at Camp Nou until 2021.
"FC Barcelona announce that they have reached an agreement with Luis Suarez for the extension of the player's contract until 30 June 2021," a club statement read.
"The buy-out clause in the contract is set at €200m."
The news of Suarez's new deal will come as music to the ears of Blaugrana fans who have already seen Neymar commit his future to the club, while Lionel Messi and Ivan Rakitic have expressed their desire to remain with the Catalans.
The 29-year-old Suarez has enjoyed a stellar 2016/17 season thus far, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists in 13 La Liga starts.
