Arsenal midfielder Dan Crowley has made an immediate impression during his trail at Eredivisie side Go Ahead Eagles, according to technical director Dennis Bekking.
Following the long-term injury sustained by former Fulham midfielder Chris David, the struggling Dutch side are in dire need of reinforcements.
Crowley joined the Dutch side on trial last week, with the teenager keen to get his career back on track after a couple of indifferent loan spells in the English Football League.
"Crowley has made quite an impression," Bekking told the club's website. "He belongs in terms of technical skills among the better talents from Arsenal, but in England other things are also asked of you.
"He is strong on the ball and can play well between the lines. We see in him a number 10."
The 19-year-old scored three goals in 11 appearances for League One side Oxford before his loan was terminated due to 'ill discipline'.
