Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he would never have sold Angel Di Maria, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, or Danny Welbeck.
Mourinho was appointed new manager at the Red Devils following frustrating spells at the club under David Moyes and Louis van Gaal. Both previous bosses spent big in the transfer market, while also off-loading the likes of Di Maria, Chicharito, and Welbeck.
The Portuguese tactician has stated that he did not agree with the business that was done in the transfer market before his arrival, insisting he would never have sold the trio.
"Manchester United sold players that I would never sell and bought players that I would never buy," Mourinho told the BBC.
"I would never have sold Di Maria, Chicharito, Danny Welbeck — never, no chance."
