Europa League quarter-final draw confirmed

Manchester United were paired with Anderlecht in the Europa League quarter-finals after the draw was completed in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday afternoon.

The Red Devils, who defeated Russian side FC Rostov in the previous round, have never won this competition, although manager Jose Mourinho was a Europa League (previously the UEFA Cup) winner with Porto in 2003.

Anderlecht, meanwhile, secured their place after defeating Cypriot side Apoel FC over two legs.

La Liga side Celta Vigo were drawn to face Belgian Pro League Genk after victories over Krasnodar and Gent respectively.

One-time winners Ajax Amsterdam will play Bundesliga side Schalke, and Lyon have a tricky test against Turkish side Besiktas.
