At the beginning of the month, Carlo Ancelotti and Bayern München were well on course to complete a domestic treble, but now things look a lot different.
The German champions are two wins away from winning a fifth straight Bundesliga title, but have been knocked out of the Champions League and DFB Cup.
This has led to reports that Ancelotti’s future at the club could be in jeopardy, following these recent setbacks.
But Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has insisted that the Italian’s future has not been discussed.
“Carlo is a very good and experienced coach,” Rummenigge was quoted by newspaper Sport Bild.
“His contract term is known [until 2019] and this is not discussed,” said the chairman.
