Rodriguez joins Milan overhaul

AC Milan have made their third signing of the transfer window with left-back Ricardo Rodriguez set to join from VfL Wolfsburg.

The Switzerland international has arrived in Italy to complete the move. He was quoted as saying: "I am very happy to be here. I have not yet spoken to [manager Vincenzo] Montella. Forza Milan!"

The 24-year-old has made well over 100 Bundesliga appearances in six seasons with Die Wolfe, and also has 43 caps for the Swiss national team.

Rodriguez would be the Rossoneri’s third recruit since finishing sixth in Serie A last season, as they look to improve their squad with the help of new Chinese investment.

Milan have already signed Argentinian centre-back Mateo Musacchio from Villarreal and snapped up Franck Kessie, one of the league’s most promising young midfielders, from Atalanta.
