Hong Kong and Jordan played out a goalless draw in their international friendly encounter at the Mong Kok Stadium on Wednesday.

Both sides came into the game on the back of defeats, with Hong Kong going down 2-0 to Lebanon while Jordan were edged out 1-0 by Iraq.

The hosts fielded an attacking 3-4-3 formation with Alexander Akande leading the line, but they were unable to break through the Jordan defence.

The visitors' attacking duo of Baha' Faisal and Odai Al Saify were also kept quiet as the two sides negated each other over 90 minutes.

Hong Kong's next fixture is an AFC Asian Cup Qualifier against Korea DPR, while Jordan are preparing to Vietnam in the same competition.
