Bayer 04 Leverkusen have confirmed that centre-back Kyriakos Papadopoulos has signed for Bundesliga rivals Hamburger SV on a permanent deal.
The 25-year-old joined Hamburg midway through last season on loan and scored twice in 15 league games to help them stave off relegation on the final day of the campaign.

The Greek defender, who has also played for Schalke 04 and RB Leipzig, has signed a three-year contract with Hamburg.
"Everyone saw how much of a push Papa gave the entire team in the second half of the season," said Hamburg sporting director Jens Todt, according to Reuters.
"He motivated the other players with his winning mentality and passion."
After his loan with @HSV, Kyriakos Papadopoulos joins them on a transfer.
