Roma are close to completing yet another signing, this time in Tottenham Hotspur defender Federico Fazio.
The Serie A side have already snapped up Rick Karsdorp, Cengiz Under, Bruno Peres, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Juan Jesus, Mário Rui and Héctor Moreno, and have now moved to make the loan signing of Fazio a permanent one.
The 30-year-old Argentine centre-back, who began his career with Sevilla, joined Spurs in 2014 but spent just one season at the club before going out on loan to former side Sevilla.
He spent the 2016/17 season on loan in the Italian capital where he impressed enough to prompt the club to secure him on a permanent deal.
Fazio started 35 league matches as Roma finished second in Serie A, four points behind champions Juventus.
