Eintracht Frankfurt have moved quickly to replace Bastian Oczipka with the signing of left-back Jetro Willems from PSV.
Willems has been on the radar of Europe’s elite clubs since bursting onto the scene at Euro 2012 as an 18-year-old for the Netherlands.
Since arriving at PSV from Sparta Rotterdam in 2011, the 23-year-old defender has been a regular with De Boeren, amassing 192 appearances and winning two Eredivisie titles over the past six seasons.
However, with the Eagles allowing Oczipka to join Schalke this week, they tweeted an image of Willems undergoing a medical at the Bundesliga club on Monday morning ahead of his reported €6 million move.
