Chelsea have announced a second loan spell for American defender Matt Miazga with Vitesse Arnhem.
The 22-year-old helped the Eredivisie side win the Dutch Cup last season to secure their place in the Europa League.
A former New York Red Bulls player and United States international, Miazga, who joined the Blues in 2016, was part of the US side that claimed top honours in the Gold Cup in July.
He made just two appearance for Chelsea during 2016 before joining Vitesse, where he played 35 times, scoring once.
On his time in the Netherlands, Miazga recently said, according to Goal: "Chelsea, after last season, was happy with my progression on loan and it was very good because they have a good setup over there, always giving me match analysis after games. Coming to visit me every four weeks to give my video analysis of how I’m developing, my strengths and things I can work on in my game.
"They’re always watching every game and it’s all going in the right direction so I know I’m in good hands."
