Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting admits he can't wait to get started in the English Premier League after signing a three-year deal with Stoke City.
Choupo-Moting, 28, arrives at the Bet365 with a massive reputation as a physically imposing player at 1.91m, with technical qualities as a left-forward that saw him excel for the past decade in the Bundesliga.
Capable of fullfiling any role across the front-line, the Cameroon international, who signed on a free transfer upon the expiry of his contract with Schalke, will slot seamlessly into Mark Hughes' side as the direct replacement for Marko Arnautovic, who joined West Ham last month.
"I am just so happy to join the Stoke City family and have this opportunity to play in the English Premier League for the first time," he told the club's website.
"It has always been a goal of mine to one day come over to England and play here, and I was able to make good contact with the Club here and am just so happy that the deal is done.
"The Bundesliga is a great competition too, but the Premier League is really special and I can't wait to play against all of those teams as a Stoke City player."
Choupo-Moting scored 45 goals and registered 22 assists in 204 Bundesliga appearances.
