VfL Wolfsburg manager Andries Jonker is eager to get the new Bundesliga season underway against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
The Wolves won their first competitive clash of the season last Sunday with a 1-0 DFB Pokal victory over Eintracht Norderstedt, and the club's fans are excited to see their team in action against Dortmund.
"The tingling was there before the cup game. Now the Bundesliga is finally about to get going again," Jonker told his press conference, according to the club's official website.
"The fans are in top form again. They’ve picked up just where they left off last season and their support is sensational."
When asked about Dortmund and their manager Peter Bosz, Jonker added: "Borussia Dortmund are a fantastic side to be starting against.
"I paid great attention to him as a player and now as a coach. He always gets his sides to play attacking football. He has always stuck to his guns and I have massive respect for that."
