Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jørgensen feels the goal he scored in the 2-0 victory over Groningen on Saturday night was his best for the club.
The Denmark international received a pass after a spectacular backheel from winger Steven Berghuis, before lobbing the ball in off the post over goalkeeper Sergio Padt.
The victory ended the Eredivisie Champion's run of five successive league matches without a win – moving them into fifth place but still 11 points off leaders PSV.
"Sam gave the ball to Steven, who got it to me via an unbelievable back-heel. My chip was great too and it went in nicely off the post," he told the club's website.
"You normally only score goals like that in training. It’s one of the nicest goals I’ve scored for Feyenoord, maybe the nicest of all.
"It was very important that we won today because we could not – and did not want to – lose too many more points. We don’t have any midweek fixtures over the next few weeks, so we can recuperate.
"A lot of lads have played with their national teams in recent weeks, so the fallow week comes at a good time. As a result, we will be able to work towards next Saturday‘s home match against Vitesse."
The 26-year-old scored 21 goals and registered 14 assists in 32 games last season to lead de Stadionclub to their first title since 1999.
